Accessibility statement for Multisensory XR

This accessibility statement applies to the Multisensory XR project website at multisensoryxr.sites.er.kcl.ac.uk.

Using the website

We want as many people as possible to be able to use, read and understand the content of the Multisensory XR website.

This means that you should be able to:

• change colours, contrast levels and fonts
• zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen

Until it is, we cannot confirm full compliance, and some content may not yet meet every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion. We are committed to identifying and addressing any shortfalls as they come to light.

What we are doing to improve accessibility

King’s College London is committed to fixing or providing alternatives for all issues that we are made aware of or are identified by our internal testing and auditing processes.

Activities to improve the accessibility of this website are as follows:

• Completing a full manual audit, including keyboard-only navigation and screen reader testing across all page templates, ahead of the January 2027 conference.
• Checking colour contrast, use of colour and text alternatives for images as new content is added, in both the light and dark display modes.
• Correcting any issues identified as promptly as we reasonably can.

This statement was prepared on 13 July 2026. It was last reviewed on 13 July 2026.

This website was last tested on 13 July 2026. The test was carried out by King’s Digital Lab (KDL), using automated contrast and DOM checks together with manual inspection of a representative sample of page templates. A fuller manual audit is planned.

We tested a representative sample of the site’s page templates: the home page and a call for papers post, each in both the light and dark display modes.
